Shown for the first time at a major gaming event, Coven of the Chicken Foot is pitched as a narrative-driven exploration title. The game follows an elderly witch, a hero that defies traditional video game heroics. The core idea stemmed from a desire to deconstruct what it means to be a protagonist.

"Imagine if you were without traditional weapons? What if your character was somehow encumbered? What if you’re a little old lady?" mused the creative lead. "I thought it was deeply interesting to think about what makes a hero. Heroism involves fighting your way through challenges, but also encompasses sacrifice, loyalty, determination, and persistence."

While the game seems unfamiliar visually, its core innovation builds directly upon the technology developed for The Last of Us. This whole endeavor sprang from one pivotal question: "Is it possible to design an AI partner more dynamic and responsive to the player?"
