Battlefield 6 BR Mode Arrives Very Soon as a F2P Experience

After months of rumors, the BR game type for Battlefield 6 is finally arriving. Last week's rumors claiming its debut would coincide with Season 1 were true. Fans can dive into the gameplay starting very soon.

Launch Season Adding a Fresh Location, Mode, and Guns

In tandem with the battle royale release, the new season is also beginning. This brings a new map, a fresh game type, and an expanded arsenal. On top of that, Redsec is being introduced. A embedded teaser will be released at launch, offering players a taste of what's to come.

Complimentary Access Makes the Mode Available to Everyone

Perhaps the biggest news is that Battlefield Redsec will be F2P. In the vein of established offerings, you do not need to buy the main title to play. A number of participants have already tried pre-release builds of the game type. Those playtests were conducted in Battlefield Labs, which the studio described as their largest fan involvement effort.

The heart-pounding excitement during encounters with opposing teams can't be found in other BR game. It seems do or die, and you genuinely worry if you live or perish.
Although I was a critic previously, I'm now supportive of the new mode after playing it.

These early impressions from participants have been very positive. Certainly, the mode may have been adjusted over the past few weeks in terms of game balance and speed. However, early signs are promising that Redsec could be a genuine rival to popular titles. Many are expecting that the best guns from the original Battlefield 6 will carry over in the BR.
