Two more people are now in custody in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to police.
A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.
These detentions come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.
A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later released.
Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault close to the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.
Police were alerted at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of people hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.
The assault - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
